Carillon concerts are given on Sundays, July 4th through Labor Day, at the Graduate College of Princeton University. The Princeton University carillon has 67 bells, all housed within Cleveland Tower. These bells are stationary. Clappers strike the bells’ lips to sound the bells and create music. A carillonneur plays from a console near the top of the tower. Using fists and feet, the carillonneur activates clappers through mechanical linkage to produce music that can be heard for miles around.
