This documentary film, completed on January 4, 2021, two days before an angry mob attacked our Legislative Branch, features the work of artist and lawyer Ryan Lilienthal. A filmmaker might choose to focus on the artwork, or on the artist, or on the artist’s message. I was impressed by the equanimity with which Ryan expressed his views. If we the people of the United States are to be truly united, we need to encourage considerate, thoughtful dialogue such as this. And our conversations must be firmly rooted in facts.
